The event was chaired by Mrs. Srijana Khadka, Chairperson of Api Power. The initiative reflects the company’s goal of lighting homes and lives.
Supporting Young Minds for a Better Tomorrow
During the event, Executive Director Sanjiv Neupane thanked the school and its staff. He praised their support for the successful execution of the program. “We are grateful for the opportunity to work with the school,” he said. “This is not just a CSR event. It is an investment in the nation’s future.”
He added, “Students are the leaders of tomorrow. Our efforts aim to empower them with hope and resources. We plan to continue supporting education, health, infrastructure, and the environment in this region.”
Going Beyond Power Production
Director Dwarika Neupane explained that Api Power’s mission extends beyond energy. “We are not just creating power projects,” he said. “We are nurturing the next generation of engineers, scientists, and administrators. They may come from these very classrooms.”
He also mentioned that small acts of support could boost a child’s confidence. “One bag or one pair of shoes may seem simple. But they hold the power to spark big dreams.”
Clean Energy with a Social Purpose
Director Milan Khadka spoke to journalists after the program. He highlighted the company’s dual focus on technology and community. “Api Power moves forward with advanced technology and eco-friendly values,” he said. “We are committed to clean, sustainable energy. But we also care deeply about the communities we serve.”
According to him, the company considers social impact a part of every project. “CSR isn’t just a requirement—it’s part of our belief system,” he stated. “We will continue similar initiatives in the future.”
Local Leaders Welcome the Initiative
Local representatives and residents expressed appreciation for Api Power’s efforts. Former Ward Chair Aslam Dewan praised the company’s commitment to social work. “I have seen many projects, but few companies show such compassion. This initiative will inspire both students and the broader community,” he said.
He urged the company to continue its efforts and reach more students in the future.
School Administration Grateful for Support
The principal of Adarsha Basic School shared emotional words. He thanked Api Power for supporting his students. “We operate with limited resources,” he said. Today, I saw happiness on our students’ faces. That is priceless.”
He further mentioned that the support boosted student morale. “We hope to continue working with Api Power to enhance education here,” he added.
Recognized for Timely Project Delivery
Local entrepreneur Prakash Wagle applauded the company’s performance. He referenced Api Power’s timely completion of a 1 MW solar project in Simara. “Not many companies finish on time. But Api Power did it, and that too with high quality,” he noted.
He also pointed out that the company doesn’t focus only on profit. “They understand their social duty. That makes them a valuable force in our community.”
Solar Projects Across the Region
Api Power is steadily expanding its footprint in solar energy. It is currently developing an 8 MW solar project in Parwanipur. The company has already completed 1 MW projects in Dalkebar and Simara, and a 4 MW plant in Chandranigahapur.
These achievements reflect the company’s focus on clean and scalable power. With each project, Api Power aims to reduce Nepal’s reliance on fossil fuels and imports.
A Legacy of Responsible Growth
Former board members Satish Nyaochhane and Indramani Trital also attended the event. They were proud to see the company maintain its values. “We started this journey with big hopes. It feels great to see the new leadership carry the torch forward,” they said.
Both commended the company’s continued focus on education and local impact.
Development with a Human Touch
Chairperson Srijana Khadka concluded the event with a message of holistic development. “When we plan a project, we look beyond the land and numbers,” she said. “We try to understand the people—their needs, their dreams.”
She emphasized that the company works for both energy generation and social progress. “Clean energy is just the start. We want to empower people and communities along the way,” she added.
