Apple’s latest MacBook was launched a month ago and now the news of the next MacBook series is surfacing all over.

According to the reports, TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the company is planning to launch two redesigned MacBook Pro Models in 2021. It seems like 2021 will be a great year for Apple lovers. Also, it is said that the new MacBook Air Model will be launched in 2022. Both the MacBook Pro Models and MacBook Air Model will have a common feature that all three will feature mini-LED displays and Apple Silicon chips. Sounds interesting, right?

From this news, we can expect that Apple will increase the production of mini-LED displays next year. New iPads with these mini-LED displays are also expected to be launched soon.

Revising his forecast for shipment of Apple devices with mini LED display technology, Kuo reported that Apple would ship 2-3million units in 2021 followed by 4-5million units in 2022. And now, Kuo says that Apple will ship 10-12units in 2021 and 25-28million units in 2022. For this increment in the shipment, Kuo explained two reasons which are; the cost improvement to be better than expected and also the adoption rate of mini LED panels in MacBook to be better than expected.

“MacBook shipment will grow significantly by about 100% to 30-35million units per year within three years thanks to the adoption of Apple Silicon and the all-new form factor design”, Kuo predicts. Also, he said that Apple is likely to launch 2 or 3 chargers in 2021.

MINI-LED DISPLAY

Mini-LED is a new technology which uses very small LEDs to produce the display’s light and can feature over a thousand Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) zones. The cost of Apple Silicon is significantly lower than the Intel CPU which will balance the increased cost of using mini LED panels.

You may be wondering what are the benefits of mini-LED displays are, that even a superior company like Apple is planning to adopt this new technology. Let us clear your thoughts and give some of the benefits of mini-LED displays.

  • High contrast ratio
  • High brightness
  • Deeper blacks
  • Power-efficient
  • High dynamic range

Mini LED is the superior technology that provides the best image quality and contrast ratios. As it is the latest and the superior technology, it is currently too pricey. Even for a company like Apple, this technology is expensive. With its eye-catching features, this new technology is on its way to capture the tech market.

The decision of Apple to use Apple silicon chips and mini-LED displays together on MacBook Pro Models and MacBook Air Model seems smart enough to make the price of the products affordable for its consumers.

With the news of the next MacBook series surfacing all over, we can not wait for the launch of these products. If Apple includes mini-LED displays in its products, mini-LEDs will embark on its new journey in this field. And who knows they may be hyped too. Let’s hope for the best and wait for more updates.
