Artists from across Nepal gathered at Maitighar Mandala on Saturday to pay a heartfelt tribute to those who lost their lives during the recent ‘Genz’ movement held on September 8 and 9.

The peaceful demonstrations turned tragic after security forces used force, leading to violent clashes and the loss of lives. To honor the memory of the deceased, representatives from film, music, literature, and theatre joined together in a symbolic act of solidarity.

During the program, artists referred to the victims as true heroes of the democratic struggle, stressing the need to remember their sacrifices for freedom and justice. Candles were lit, flowers were offered, and emotional speeches highlighted the importance of continuing their vision for a fair society.
