The donation, part of the company’s dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aims to strengthen the operational capacity of traffic police in a time of growing challenges.
The handover ceremony, held at the Traffic Police Office on Ramshah Path, underscored Golchha Group’s commitment to supporting the nation’s infrastructure. This initiative is particularly timely, following recent events where traffic police resources, including vehicles, were damaged.
The new fleet of motorcycles will provide the Baggikhana office with the mobility and resources needed to respond effectively to traffic issues, maintain order, and ensure road safety for all.
Mr. Shekhar Golchha, Chairman and Managing Director of Golchha Group, highlighted the national importance of such partnerships. “It is about whether the state itself endures,” he stated, emphasizing the need for unity and support for public institutions.
This donation is a tangible representation of Golchha Group’s motto, “Our Road Safety is Our Responsibility: Golchha Group’s partnership with traffic police,” demonstrating a long-standing commitment to community welfare.
The new motorcycles will be instrumental in improving response times to accidents, managing congestion in Kathmandu’s increasingly busy streets, and enforcing traffic regulations more efficiently. As a leading business house in Nepal, the Golchha Group’s action serves as a powerful example of how the private sector can play a vital role in national development and public service.
This collaboration is a testament to the shared vision of building a safer, more resilient capital for every Nepalese citizen.
