In a groundbreaking move for Nepal’s education consultancy sector, Bhashika Consultancy, located at Putalisadak, Kathmandu, has officially introduced Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to provide digital counseling services for students.

According to Ishwari Niraula, Director of Bhashika, the consultancy has developed its own Bhashika Software, which includes an AI-based counseling system. The system is designed to give students complete educational information directly at home, making counseling more accessible, especially for students in rural areas.
“We started with the idea of teaching languages digitally. Gradually, we began using AI for IELTS preparation classes and to provide factual information about foreign universities. The goal is to make education consultancy services available through mobile devices, saving time and cost for students,” Niraula said.

Collaboration with Leaf Education
Utsav Timilsina, another Director of Bhashika, explained that the initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Leaf Education. The consultancy has introduced these AI tools free of cost, ensuring accessibility for all students.
“Our vision is to make consultancy services available from home. With AI, we can provide factual information and help students make informed decisions without additional financial burden,” Timilsina said.
Positive Reception in Nepal
The official launch of the AI-powered counseling system took place during an education fair at Hotel Everest in Kathmandu in mid-Bhadra, where the concept was introduced to students, parents, and counselors.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, with participants welcoming Bhashika’s innovation as a “Digital Consultancy” and even calling it “Consultancy at Your Phone.”
