Biratnagar Kings, the esteemed cricket franchise representing Koshi Province, is set to energize its fanbase ahead of the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL) season.

The team is hosting a special musical concert this Saturday, September 6, at Jain Bhawan in Biratnagar, promising an evening of entertainment and celebration.
The concert will feature one of Nepal’s most beloved youth icons, the charismatic singer Nitesh Jung Kunwar, as the headlining act. Known for his captivating stage presence and popular songs, Kunwar is expected to draw a large crowd of music and cricket fans alike.
Adding to the local flavor, the concert will also showcase the talents of local artists Shubham and The Band and Mrityunjay. Their performances will further amplify the festive atmosphere and celebrate the vibrant cultural scene of Koshi Province.

The event, which is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM, is more than just a concert; it’s a strategic move to rally community support and thank the team’s dedicated followers. Tickets are priced at an affordable NPR 200, but in a special gesture of appreciation, Biratnagar Kings is offering free entry to anyone wearing the team’s official jersey.
This initiative is designed to reward fan loyalty and foster a sense of unity under the team’s proud motto: “Koshi’s Pride, Our Identity.”
Venkatesh Mundra, one of the owners of Biratnagar Kings, highlighted the dual purpose of the event. “The Biratnagar Kings family has always believed in bringing people together through cricket and now through music, culture, and celebration,” he stated. “This concert is our way of thanking our supporters and energizing the spirit of Koshi ahead of the Nepal Premier League.”
The musical celebration comes at a pivotal time, with the Nepal Premier League (NPL) set to begin in Mangsir (late November).
The upcoming season, as announced by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), will feature eight teams vying for the championship title. The concert serves as the perfect curtain-raiser, building excitement and momentum for the Kings as they prepare to compete on the national stage.
