The most popular Chinese car company, BYD (Build Your Dreams), has launched the most popular model, the BYD Atto 3, in Nepal in 2024. This car is marketed as the first electric SUV with sporty looks.
This model is the favourite and best-selling electric car in Nepal. It prioritizes performance, features, extended range, and safety and is built on the BYD e-platform 3.0.
BYD Atto 3 in Nepal
This model is available in 2 variants, Advanced and Superior. There are not so many differences between them. Although they share the same specifications, features, safety measures, and motors, except for battery power and range,.
Both variants are packed with 100kWh motor with 49.92kWh and 60.48kWh LPF Blade Battery. The only difference is the battery packs and their range. Otherwise, every feature, styling, and performance are the same. The choice, without any compromise in its features or safety, has make Atto 3 a valuable electric car in 2024.

PMSM motor generates a maximum power of 135 PS and a maximum torque of 310 NM. While the advanced variant can charge in 7.5 hours with 7kWh and gives a range of 345 km, the Superior variant is charged in 9.1 hours with 7kWh and gives a range of 420 km.
