Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chitwan (CCIC) President Chiranjibi Subedi Elected

Chiranjibi Subedi has been elected as the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chitwan (CCIC).
Subedi secured his victory during the 59th General Assembly and Convention of the association, defeating his opponent, Shirish Pant, by a margin of 299 votes. According to the final results, Subedi garnered 1,484 votes, while Pant received 1,185 votes.
Key Election Results
The election saw a sweep by Subedi’s panel across most major positions:
Senior Vice-President: Rajendra Oli (Subedi Panel)
Vice-Presidents: Narayan Pradhan and Rajan Piya (Subedi Panel)
Vice-President: Janak Paudel (Pant Panel)
The majority of the executive member positions were also secured by candidates from Subedi’s panel.
Voter Turnout
The voting process took place on Monday, seeing a high level of participation from the local business community. Out of a total of 3,371 eligible voters, 2,719 votes were cast.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chitwan holds its convention and leadership elections every two years.
