Citizens Bank International Limited has reaffirmed its dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by assisting Renew Foundation Nepal.

The foundation, which shelters and cares for around 45 orphaned children, received daily consumables and a water dispenser as part of the bank’s initiative.
Essential Support for Renew Foundation Nepal
Citizens Bank provided the materials during a special event held at the foundation. Mr. Ganesh Raj Pokharel, CEO of the bank, personally handed over the items to the children.
He expressed his happiness in supporting the foundation and praised its efforts in caring for orphaned children. “It is a privilege to contribute, even in a small way, to these children’s well-being,” he said. He also highlighted the foundation’s role in setting an example for society by prioritizing care and education for vulnerable children.

In collaboration with FonePay, it launched Nepal’s first “Citizens FonePay Credit Card”, introducing seamless transaction solutions for its customers.
Citizens Bank has also enhanced its mobile banking app. Customers can now apply for shares and access Citizen Number services directly through the app, reflecting the bank’s focus on modernizing its offerings.
