Birendra Raj Pandey has been appointed as the Senior Vice President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI). The decision was made during the Governing Council meeting of CNI held on Sunday, in accordance with the confederation’s constitution.

As per CNI’s provisions, the Senior Vice President automatically assumes the role of President in the next tenure. Therefore, Pandey will take over as the President following the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
Extensive Experience in CNI
Pandey has been actively involved with CNI since 2015 as a member of the National Council, contributing to various committees. Since 2018, he has served as Vice President, showcasing his leadership and dedication to the organization.

Born in Kathmandu, Pandey has over three decades of experience in the construction sector. His expertise spans civil engineering, housing and urban development, roads and bridges, water resource management, and structural strengthening. Pandey is the Executive Director of Nepal Adarsha Nirman Company and has demonstrated his commitment to innovation in green material production, agriculture, and education.
