The CNI IT Council has proudly been named the “Most Outstanding Committee/Council/Forum of CNI for the Year 2081” at the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI).

Pioneering the Digital Economy of Nepal
The award celebrates the CNI IT Council’s exceptional leadership in accelerating digital transformation in Nepal. Under the visionary guidance of Ajit Shah (Council Chairperson) and Sanjay Golcha (Vice Chairperson), along with dynamic members Suman Rayamajhi, Manish Shrestha, Hempal Shrestha, and Prajwal Nepali, the council has launched bold initiatives designed to elevate Nepal’s tech ecosystem.
Among their most notable achievements are:
1. Tech Peak Nepal 2024
This national-level event served as a major catalyst for collaboration, bringing together tech innovators, policymakers, investors, and industry leaders. It aimed to build a stronger local ecosystem and identify scalable solutions tailored to Nepal’s unique digital challenges.
2. Tech Peak Orlando 2025
A first-of-its-kind international showcase, this event put Nepal’s IT and ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) capabilities on the global stage. Fully sponsored by the private sector, Tech Peak Orlando drew international attention, promoting Nepali tech startups, products, and services to investors and partners abroad.
A Call to Embrace the Tech Opportunity
A key member of the council involved in the Tech Peak initiatives shared their gratitude and vision, saying:
“This recognition is not just a celebration—it’s a call to action. Nepal’s tech sector holds the key to our next wave of economic growth.”
They further urged traditional investors to actively look at the tech sector as the next engine of economic growth for Nepal, calling on them to back bold ideas, digital innovation, and global-ready startups.

In addition to investment, the council member called on all Nepali tech companies and startups to aim higher:
“Let’s think beyond borders. Let’s scale, collaborate, and invest in building global operations that put Nepal on the map as a serious player in technology and innovation.”
