CNIYEF Lumbini Industry Visit Program: Nepal Youth Entrepreneurship & Business Insights

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Youth Entrepreneurs Forum Lumbini (CNIYEF Lumbini) organized an industry visit. This program focused on Rupandehi and Nawalparasi districts. The main goal was to study industry operations, management styles, and business challenges.

More than 30 young entrepreneurs joined the visit. Forum Chairperson Rajan Kasaju led the group. Suraj Upreti coordinated the entire program. The team visited two major industries: KPI Helmet in Tilottama Municipality and Asian Concreto in Ramgram Municipality.

Exploring KPI Helmet’s Manufacturing Process And Challenges

At KPI Helmet, Director Seema Basyal Pandey shared detailed insights. She explained the helmet production process and the company’s operations. Established in 2016, KPI Helmet ranks among Nepal’s top helmet manufacturers. The company produces high-quality safety helmets. It also replaces imports by making helmets locally.

Seema Pandey emphasized the company’s role in creating jobs in Nepal. She shared plans to expand exports beyond the domestic market. KPI Helmet aims to enter international markets soon. Notably, Kohinoor is Nepal’s first company to produce helmets domestically.

Asian Concreto’s Growth And Market Expansion

Next, the team visited Asian Concreto. Vice President Shyamlal Jha briefed the entrepreneurs about the company’s status. Asian Concreto is a leading player in Nepal’s construction materials sector. The company supports several large construction projects across Nepal.

Jha highlighted growing demand from neighboring Indian states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Asian Concreto follows strict quality standards. It ensures timely supply and competitive pricing. These strategies help the company maintain a strong market position.

Learning From Industry Experience

Chairperson Rajan Kasaju called the visit informative and inspiring. He noted that firsthand exposure to local industries helps young entrepreneurs. Such visits allow them to understand operational methods and business challenges clearly.
