If you look at the current stage of Nepal then the major of Cyber Security issues occurs due to lack of Nepal government turning a blind eye towards issues of internet governance process in Nepal. The ICT industry is limited within the complexity of business and limited stakeholder where the government and regulator fail to recognize civil society and user groups as the stakeholder.
Perhaps reality is The Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) which is given the role of regulator fails to address any policy recommendation in terms of creating the proper mechanism to manage the internet governance process in Nepal’s ICT industry. Due to this, the limitation of policy and mechanism has been hindering the industry in terms of growth and development.
