MAW Vriddhi Group is well known for introducing world-class brands and providing superior mobility experiences in Nepal and their assertion at NADA reinforces their vision to lead progress and innovate the transportation journey to the future of Nepal.
This year, MAW Vriddhi Group is ready to take that vision even further. Today on the very first day of NADA Auto Show 2025, a historic unveiling will take place. The Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr. KP Sharma Oli, together with Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Chairman of MAW Vriddhi Group, and Mr. Vivek Sikaria, Managing Director of MAW Vriddhi Group, officially reveals the Deepal eVTOL, popularly known as the flying car. Speaking on it Mr. Agrawal said, “This marks a major milestone in bringing the future of mobility to Nepal,” while Mr. Sikaria added, “We are proud to showcase innovation that may redefine transportation in the country.”
The Deepal eVTOL is more than simply a ‘new vehicle.’ EHang has partnered with Changan Automobile – the makers of Deepal, on flying cars to create an innovative way for personal transportation.
Deepal is a new energy sub-brand of Changan Automobile, one of China’s largest automotive manufacturers whereas EHang is a global leader in autonomous aerial vehicles and the first company to commercially deliver pilotless passenger-carrying eVTOLs . Their joint mission is to develop, produce and commercialize next generation eVTOLs powered by EHang’s autonomous flight technology 4.
Both companies aim to democratise air mobility, making flying cars safe, eco-friedly and accessible – not just luxury mobility. The Deepal eVTOL, showcased at the NADA Auto Show 2025 , is a direct result of the collaboration.
Besides, Changan intends to invest more than USD 2.76 billion in developing other advanced air and sea mobility solutions by 2030.
The Deepal eVTOL has the capability to take off and land vertically, depicting an ‘evolution’ in sustainable and futuristic transport.
Deepal blends aeronautical engineering with the latest electric propulsion technologies to help alleviate congestion on land, decrease noise pollution, and address carbon emissions. In addition to sophisticated engineering, the eVTOL boasts a defined and ‘cool’ design with advanced smart technology.
It is a modern representation of new technologies and shows how transportation is evolving beyond conventional routes and into airspace, always prioritizing safety, efficiency, and planet health.
For Nepal, the showcase of the flying car is a proud moment. It puts the country on the global map of nations who are preparing for the future of sustainable mobility.
For MAW Vriddhi Group, this is another milestone in the company’s long journey of introducing world-class products and building loyalty and trust from customers.
This introduction will not only signify the start of NADA 2025, but will also confirm success and be an epic moment in Nepal’s automotive history.
