He devours his mo: mo, like he is in a race, pays his bill and hurries back to his bike. By the time he reaches the office, he is already 10 minutes late. Sweating and panting he gets back to his work and realizes that he didn’t even remember the taste of the mo: mo because of the rush he was in. Well, this was the scenario a few years ago. Nowadays, foodies like HarkaBahadur have a new tool to satisfy their tongue and stomach any time, Foodmandu.

Foodmandu is a food delivery service provider with more than 100 restaurants in its shopping list. You can get your food delivered at more than 83 locations inside the ring road of Kathmandu Valley. It is a pioneering company to get your favorite food provided from your desired restaurant right at your doorstep. You can place your order using either of its free Smartphone application or web application.

Founded by Mr. ManoharAdhikari, Foodmandu.com was launched in November 2010. Initially, it used to deliver food from 10 different restaurants. But with the increased penetration of internet and the interest of people toward e-commerce platforms, in just seven years the platform has expanded to more than 130 restaurants of Kathmandu valley.

Mr. Adhikari, CEO at Foodmandu says, “Currently we are receiving about 150 orders per day. Though we have grown tremendously since our establishment, I think that e-commerce platform is in its nascent stage in Nepal and hence this is just the beginning.”
