Design Disco Vol 2, a highly anticipated event, is extending a special invitation to passionate individuals to participate as speakers or presenters and explore the profound implications of design during these transformative times.
Design Disco, a dynamic one-day event, will be held on July 15, 2023, providing an engaging platform for design enthusiasts. This year, the event embraces the theme of “Designing for Tomorrow,” focusing on the evolving landscape of design. As the industry witnesses the impact of generative AI and spatial UX, Design Disco aims to delve into the potential opportunities and challenges faced by designers.
While the previous two Design Disco events were conducted virtually due to the pandemic, organizers are thrilled to announce that this year’s event will be a live physical gathering, marking an exciting milestone for all participants.
How to Participate:
Design professionals and students who are interested in sharing their expertise and ideas can submit their proposals by filling out the form available at frog.ly/DD-call-for-speakers. This is a chance to cook up an idea that resonates with the global community of designers and inspires the next generation of creative minds.
Design Disco offers two categories for speakers and presenters:
Professional Speakers:
Experienced professionals in graphics design are encouraged to apply as speakers. Share your knowledge, insights, and expertise with an enthusiastic audience. Eligible professionals should have substantial experience in graphics design and demonstrate expertise in a specific topic or area of design.
Student Presenters:
Passionate students in graphics design can apply to present their portfolios at Design Disco. Selected students will have approximately one minute to captivate event attendees with their design work. Eligible applicants should be currently enrolled students in an educational institution, showcasing a strong interest in graphics design through a diverse portfolio.
Selection Process:
The panel at Leapfrog will review all applications and select presenters and speakers based on the theme, creativity, and overall suitability for the event. This is a chance to inspire and connect with fellow designers and make an impact in the design community.
