DevOps Kathmandu Connect 2025 Brings Global and Local Tech Leaders to Kathmandu

Nepal’s flagship DevOps and cloud-native conference, DevOps Kathmandu Connect 2025 (Ticketed Event), is set to take place this Saturday, April 19, at Islington College in Kathmandu.

This eagerly awaited event will bring together IT professionals, students, and members of the tech community from across Nepal for a full day of technical talks, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities, all centred around modern DevOps practices and cloud technologies.
The conference will feature two prominent international speakers: Bart Farrell, CNCF Ambassador and freelance content creator, and Ram Iyengar, Developer Advocate at the Cloud Foundry Foundation.
Farrell, known for his impactful community-driven work in the cloud-native space, and Iyengar, a seasoned advocate for platform engineering and open-source infrastructure, will share their expertise and provide valuable global insights that will benefit local practitioners in Nepal’s growing tech landscape.
In addition to the international experts, the event will showcase a diverse group of local and regional thought leaders. The impressive speaker lineup includes Baibhav Bista (RoamResearch), Krishna Chalise (Grepsr), Sparsha Dotel and Amit Joshi (Leapfrog Technology), Sakar Dotel, Tara Prasad Gurung (Jyaba), Niran Maharjan (Yirifi.AI), Prasuna Mudawari (Smart Solar Corporate Nepal), Prason Pandey, Brijan Shrestha (Fusemachines), and Aaditya Singh (GNOME Foundation).
Ahead of the main event, Bart Farrell will lead a pre-conference workshop, targeted for early career professionals and speakers on Friday, April 18.
The conference will take place from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on April 19 and will feature over a dozen sessions, each aimed at providing attendees with actionable knowledge and real-world insights they can apply immediately to their work and projects.
Organized by the DevOps Kathmandu community, which has been hosting monthly meetups for cloud professionals, DevOps Kathmandu Connect 2025 marks a significant milestone in the community’s ongoing efforts to build a vibrant and collaborative tech ecosystem in Nepal.
