Prof. Dr. Dilip Subba has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of NAST, marking a significant milestone in academic leadership.

The decision was formally made by the Chancellor of NASK and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who selected Subba based on the recommendations of the committee. Dr. Subba will assume this pivotal role for a tenure of four years.

Dr. Subba’s appointment comes after the departure of the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Sunilbabu Shrestha, who completed his four-year term on January 3 last year. During this interim period, Dr. Subba Kamu has been actively contributing as the Vice-Chancellor.

Renowned for his scholarly contributions, Dr. Dilip Subba holds a prominent position for his instrumental role in establishing the Central Food Technology Department in Dharan.

Furthermore, he has enriched academia by serving as a valuable member of the Research Committee at the BP Koirala Academy of Health Sciences in Dharan.
