The DJI Inspire 1 Quadcopter with Integrated Camera and 3-Axis Gimbal can capture 4K video and 12 MP still photo from the air. This device consists of a retractable arm system instead of the fixed landing gear design found on many earlier quadcopters whereas the underside of each prop motor has a foot that acts as a landing pad when the arms are lowered. The wings lift to provide the camera with a 360-degree view during flight.
A 3-axis gimbal keeps shots steady, and the camera is pointed the same direction as the quadcopter banks and turns.
