DJI’s second-generation entry-level drone, the DJI Mini 2 is now available in Nepal. The new drone costs a bit more than the first-generation Mavic Mini. But worry not as it packs an updated camera, more powerful motors, and a stronger remote control connection.

Below we have provided detailed Specifications with DJI Mini 2 Price in Nepal.

Design

Dji Mini 2 Design

Looking at the design the new DJI Mini 2 somewhat looks like its predecessor Mavic Mini. The new DJI Mini weighs around 249 grams. For physical appearance, it has 159 x 203 x 56mm when unfolded, 245 x 289 x 56mm when Unfolded with propellers: and 138 x 81 x 58mm folded dimension.

The remote control for this drone is a bit bigger this time around and with more advanced wireless communication technology and powerful antennas. Where the 1st-generation aircraft was struggling to keep a solid proper connection at longer distances, the Mini 2 is rock solid.

Performance

DJI Mini 2 has OcuSync 2.0 for improving data transmission, which is one of the highlights of this drone. The Mini 2 now has a 10km maximum transmission range. This new drone also has improved flight performance. Mini 2 has a flight time of about 31 minutes and can resist the wind of up to 24mph. Similarly, all thanks to its dual-frequency technology, the drone can switch between two channels to avoid getting problems from interference.

Camera

Much like the original Mini and Mavic Pro, the Mini 2 has a 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor with a 12MP camera. The camera has a 24mm ( fixed-aperture F2.8 lens with an 83º Feild-Of-View. It also has an ISO range of 100-3200 and has the ability to capture raw images in addition to JPEG.

Battery and App

Battery life is improved in this new Drone, 2,250 mAh with Max Charging 29W. The Mini 2’s motors are upgraded to be both more efficient and powerful, increasing the rated battery life from 30 to 31 minutes. It’ is still shy of the 34-minute rating than the pricier DJI Mavic Air 2, the best option for drones when it comes to flight time.

With the release of last year’s Mavic Mini, DJI introduced the Fly app. The app is cleaner, powers the drone and is more streamlined than DJI’s GO 4 app. Users can now download images and shareable videos at 20MB/son in their phone straight without the need for the remote controller. They can also edit images in the app and also use the Enhance photo option for quick results. There is also a feature called a trimmed download from which users can trim the video before downloading the video.
