Donations can now be made through digital QR codes in the popular Shalin River. Madhav Narayan Swasthani Vrat and the Shalinadi Development Committee have set up a digital donation framework in religious venues for this year’s fair.

The Committee, in cooperation with Natural Savings and Loan Cooperative Society, has arranged a digital QR code scanner on the premises of religious sites.

The QR Code was given to the Committee by the Natural Savings and Loan Cooperative in collaboration with E-Sewa.

The organization has said that any bank, financial institution, and cooperative in Nepal can assist the committee by scanning the code.

In addition, anybody who wishes to make a financial donation to the committee will now pay for the assistance on a digital basis.

The organizing committee also asked Bratalo for help from people who want to help through digital rather than cash.

The Salindi Mela, which lasts for one month from Poush Shukla Purnima to Magh Shukla Purnima every year, has officially begun.
