‘eVidhya,’ an investment of Rs 8 crore, was launched to target management students at the College of Management.
The Nepalese e-learning software ‘eVidya’ has begun operations. The eVidhya smartphone application was founded by young entrepreneur Hari Bhattarai and his team. It has over 2000 videos on more than 75 themes.
Hari Bhattarai established ‘Samjhana Publications as a book publishing company. Where Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University, and Purvanchal University’s management faculties, as well as several levels of higher secondary education, used to publish books.
How much do students need for tuition?
Meanwhile, according to a poll performed by the company last year among some students, 70 to 80 percent of students need tuition lessons before the exam. Similarly, it was observed that around 22% of students lack skilled teachers and adequate instructional materials. While 53% of Plus Two, BBS, and MBS examinees fail every year.
Language choice:
According to the founder, after a study revealed that Nepali medium is the language of choice for 60 to 70% of students enrolled in various levels, only resources based on English medium are available.
Following that, on the occasion of New Year 2080, Bhattarai launched an application called ‘eVidhya‘ to teach several disciplines from the Faculty of Management.
According to Bhattarai, even though certified and trained teachers are widely available in developed cities, many pupils lack access to skilled teachers. And quality instructional materials due to geographical variety. ‘eVidhya‘ was founded to address this issue by providing equal chances to everybody.
Plan:
With almost $80 million spent on ‘eVidya,’ this company intends to expand the practice of digital learning in the future. And add services to make it easier for students. He stated that the ‘eVidhya‘ endeavor is more than just a fresh promotional move. But a dynamic stride toward increasing access to education for all by introducing systematic changes to the educational sector.
According to him, ‘eVidya’ is an application-based electronic learning platform that provides users with complete video materials based on the syllabus of various levels of higher secondary education at Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University, and Purvanchal University Management Faculty at an affordable price.

Availability:
The app is available for both Android and iOS. The National Innovation Center is believed to be supported by one rupee once downloaded.
Similarly, if students do not grasp something after seeing the films, a student support area is open around the clock for them to ask questions. eVidya will also provide you with the opportunity for free direct interaction with the professor regarding the subject you purchased before the final exam, previous question papers asked by the institution, and exam preparation courses for all subjects.

‘eVidhya‘ has created video content on related themes with the help of around 35 well-known and talented lecturers.
Video lecturers include Prof. Dr. Sushil Bhakta Mathema, Prof. Dr. Atindra Dahal, Dr. AK Chaudhary, Dr. Gopal Thapa, Rijan Dhakal, Dr. Surendra Mahato, Prakash Kumar Gautam, and others.
‘eVidhya‘ will also provide professional training and personality development training, according to the organization. eVidhya also intends to provide distance education services by affiliating with foreign institutions. And contracting with professional professors of various courses under institutional social responsibility to provide video content for all subjects in government schools from classes 6 to 10.
Under the Faculty of Management of each college, three-thirds of the students who received the highest marks at the +2 and graduation levels are also granted free e-learning courses in studies above that level.
The organization believes that e-learning will also assist to alleviate the problem of students not being able to locate learning opportunities outside of their college, a lack of resources and means, and a very low pass rate compared to the enrolment rate.
