E-School Software has become Microsoft’s first Nepali software under world-renowned software company Microsoft AppSource. The software developed by e-Zone International Pvt. Ltd. for the purpose of assisting in the management of schools was made available internationally on the Microsoft Appstore.

Microsoft’s Business Development Manager Deependra Bajracharya reported that after six months of tireless efforts, e-Zone has succeeded in putting its software into Microsoft’s App Source. There were five software applications in the process of enlisting under the App source along-side E-school from Nepal. Now anyone from around the world can buy e-school software from Microsoft. Earlier, e-Zone had been selling its software directly into the market.

The software, which can be used for free as a test, can also be purchased through Microsoft’s app Source using any online payment gateway including the beloved e-Sewa. According to e-Zone, the software is currently used by more than 500 schools across Nepal.

The E-school software provides features such as student Information System, Examination Management System, Online School Bill payment Mobile App, Attendance (including biometric verifications), Online Vacation Request, Online Admission, GPS Tracking of Bus, SMS, Learning Management System, Financial Accounting management, Bank management system, online student report card(monthly) for parents to view and grade.

All e-school data will remain in Microsoft’s cloud since it is now available on the AppSource. Bajracharya says that the software can be used safely and reliably. The software allows the education system of Nepal, starting from the school level to go digital in certain aspects. It allows the schools to keep a proper digital track of the student’s progress and even help the parents to properly examine their children’s growth.
