AWS Community Day Nepal 2024, a gathering of cloud enthusiasts, professionals, and innovators, convened on April 21st at Sunway College, Maitidevi, Kathmandu, marking a momentous occasion of knowledge exchange and networking.
The event, organized by the vibrant AWS User Group in Nepal, brought together leading minds in the field of cloud computing, offering a platform for learning, collaboration, and inspiration. With a focus on the latest trends, best practices, and real-world insights, AWS Community Day Nepal 2024 aimed to empower attendees to leverage the full potential of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive innovation and business growth.
One of the major highlights of the event was the distinguished lineup of keynote speakers who shared their expertise and experiences with the eager audience.
Mr. Anjani Phuyal, an AWS Ambassador and AUG Nepal Leader shared the inception story and the journey of AWS User Group Nepal back from the year 2018 and on the evolving landscape of AWS technologies and best practices. It was followed by the ‘Welcome Speech’ from the Director of Sunway College, Mr. Kushal Regmi who gave a brief introduction about the college and the courses being offered.
Empowering Innovation AWS Community
After this, the keynote speaker was facilitated on the stage, Mr. Bishwajit Mohapatra, the Head of Customer Relations, CIO Advisory, India and South Asia at AWS, who shed some light on the role of cloud, its changing paradigms, customer needs in the cloud universe, and optimizing AWS infrastructure.
Ridhima Kapoor, a Developer Marketing Manager at AWS India. She imparted knowledge about the future of cloud computing, emerging technologies, and the transformative power of AWS solutions.
Sushant Paudyal who is recognized as an Amazon Web Services Ambassador in Nepal, captivated attendees with his insights for AWS Nitro Cards that offloads and accelerates IO for functions, ultimately increasing overall system performance.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in a diverse range of sessions, workshops, and interactive discussions covering topics such as cloud architecture, serverless computing, machine learning, DevOps practices, and more. The event fostered an atmosphere of collaboration and knowledge sharing, allowing participants to gain valuable insights, exchange ideas, and build lasting connections within the AWS community.
