The collaborative initiative between Children in Technology (CIT) and Worldlink Internet Academy transformed classrooms across Province 4 into vibrant hubs of innovation and learning.

Empowering Young Minds in Province 4

This groundbreaking program reached students from 15 schools across Myagdi, Baglung, Parbat, Kaski, Syangja, Gorkha, Lamjung, and Tanahun, equipping them with fundamental skills in technology and internet safety.

Participating Schools

Students from the following schools enthusiastically engaged in the program:

Myagdi: Beni Community Secondary School, Mount Everest Higher Secondary Boarding School, Shree Gyan Prakash Model Secondary School.

Baglung: Kaligandaki Boarding Secondary School.

Parbat: Shahid Smarak English Boarding School, Namuna Secondary Boarding School.

Kaski: Shree Barahi Secondary School, JanaPrakash Secondary School, Kalika Secondary School.

Syangja: Tribhuvan Aadarsha Secondary School, Shree Matribhumi Secondary School.

Gorkha: The Old Capital Secondary School, Modern Secondary English Boarding School.

Lamjung: Shree Bal Kalyan Secondary School, Besishahar.

Tanahun: Shree Bal Vidya Mandir Secondary School, Panchamunidev Secondary School, Shuklagandaki.

Interactive Sessions and Impact

Led by passionate mentors from LOCUS, students explored:

The basics of hardware and software.

Awareness of efficient electrical usage.

Internet safety practices.

The hands-on sessions fostered curiosity and creativity, inspiring students to envision careers in the ever-evolving world of technology.

A Step Toward Building Future Tech Leaders

This initiative reflects a shared vision of empowering the next generation with the skills and knowledge needed for a digital future. The program has laid a solid foundation for these young learners, ensuring they are prepared to become the innovators and leaders of tomorrow.
