About Garima Bikas Bank
Garima Bikas Bank, a National Level Development Bank, began its commercial operations on November 4, 2007, from its initial headquarters in Waling, Syangja. Starting with a modest paid-up capital of NPR 26.5 million, the bank initially operated in three districts: Syangja, Palpa, and Kaski. It later expanded its reach to ten districts by April 2, 2012.
Committed to the motto “Access to All,” the bank grew strategically to become a National Level Development Bank. This expansion was achieved through mergers with Nilgiri Bikas Bank Limited in 2015 and Subekshya Bikas Bank Limited in 2016, which helped strengthen its capital base and expand its branch network. A recent acquisition of Sahara Bikas Bank Limited on November 14, 2021, further enhanced its presence, particularly in Province 2.
Today, Garima Bikas Bank operates from its head office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu. It serves a wide customer base through its extensive network of 125 branches, 1 extension counter, and 51 ATMs, ensuring accessible and reliable banking services across the nation.
