The digital landscape of Nepal is poised for a significant shift as the “Girls in ICT Day Nepal 2025” initiative officially launches on May 23, 2025.

This landmark event, spearheaded by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), aims to ignite a passion for STEM and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) among young Nepalese girls and women.
Under the inspiring theme, “Girls in ICT for Inclusive Digital Transformation,” this hybrid event will take place at Hotel Himalaya, Kupondole, Lalitpur, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Nepal Time), offering both in-person and online participation.
The initiative is set to convene a diverse group of stakeholders, including students, educators, industry leaders, and policymakers, to champion digital empowerment not only across Nepal but throughout South Asia.
