Under the theme “Girls in ICT for Inclusive Digital Transformation,” the workshop will take place from July 23 to 25, 2025, at the Royal Resort in Itahari-2, Sunsari.

This initiative, a continuation of the broader “Girls in ICT Day Nepal 2025” program spearheaded by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with NTA, targets aspiring young women aged 18 to 24. The workshop seeks to bridge the gender gap in technology and foster essential digital skills for the future workforce.

Participants will engage in intensive, in-person sessions from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. A laptop is required for attendance, and participation is strictly by invitation only.

“We are incredibly excited to bring this hands-on learning opportunity to young Nepalese women in Koshi Province,” stated an NTA representative. “Equipping them with skills in AI and Cybersecurity is crucial for their personal and professional growth, and for Nepal’s inclusive digital transformation.”
