Girls in Tech is a world-wide non-profit that works to put an end to gender inequality in high-tech industries and startups. With headquarters in San Francisco and over 100,000 members located in 39 countries around the globe, it is focused on the engagement, education, and empowerment of women in technology.

Know Your Privacy is Girls in Tech’s 6th webinar. In this webinar, you will acquire knowledge about the importance of privacy in the digital era.

Let’s learn from the facilitator Pratigya Bhattarai. Ms. Pratigya Bhattarai has a passion for human rights and believes that the right to privacy is fundamental in the world that is heavily reliant on technology and artificial intelligence. She is a certified information privacy professional for Europe (CIPP/E) from IAPP and holds a Master’s of Law degree in International Human Rights Law from Oxford Brookes University. She has worked as a Corporate Trainer for Nepal Government, international financial institutions, and corporate houses.

The subtopics that are set to be discussed are:

  2. Risks to individuals.
  3. Where do we begin?
  4. What rights are available to us?
