Global IME 18th Anniversary

This initiative, aimed at enhancing financial literacy and banking awareness, was held under the bank’s institutional social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

The program was conducted across all seven provinces in major cities to commemorate the bank’s completion of 18 years and its transition into the 19th year on Poush 18 (January 2, 2024).

In Kathmandu, the event witnessed active participation from over 1,500 individuals, including the President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Chairman of Global IME Bank, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, board members, senior management, and staff of the bank.

The participants, carrying placards and banners promoting financial literacy and banking awareness, began their walk from the Kantipath branch office, covering key parts of the city. Similar events were organized in other major cities outside the Kathmandu Valley, engaging local communities in financial education.
