Global IME Capital Limited is set to publicly issue units of the collective investment fund “Global IME Advanced Scheme 2” starting from Ashad 22 (July 6, 2025).

The scheme will initially start with a fund size of NPR 1.20 billion and has a “greenshoe option” to increase the size by up to 25%, expanding up to NPR 1.50 billion.
This scheme aims to invest in equity and fixed income instruments, balancing risk management to provide long-term returns to investors.
The scheme will be fully operated under the Mutual Fund Regulation 2067 (2010), ensuring transparency, investor protection, and proper fund management.

Capital projects an average annual return of 22.49% for this scheme. Accordingly, unit holders are expected to receive a total return of 224.96% over 10 years.
The scheme’s estimated internal rate of return (IRR) is projected at 16.88%. Capital expects to distribute dividends ranging from 8% to 20% annually during the first nine years.
Currently, Global IME Mutual Fund operates two schemes. Among them, Advanced Scheme 1 has distributed 104% dividends over seven years and offered a 10.16% fund repurchase return. The 10-year Global IME Balanced Fund 1 has a fund size of NPR 1.025 billion.
The scheme manager is Global IME Capital Limited, Nepal’s first dedicated merchant banker, established in 2008. It is a merchant banker licensed by Nepal’s Securities Board (SEBON) and is 81.50% owned by Global IME Bank.
Investors can apply for units of this scheme through all ASBA member banks and financial institutions licensed by SEBON and their designated branches.
Applications can also be submitted online using the ‘Mero Share’ software developed by CDS and Clearing Limited through the ASBA system.
In ratings done for the scheme’s issuance, credit rating agency ICRA Nepal assigned the fund promoter an ICRANP Issuer Rating of A-minus. Meanwhile, Infomerics Credit Rating awarded the scheme manager an IRN AMC Quality 3 Plus rating.
