Global IME Bank Limited has been honored with the prestigious “Best Bank Award 2024” by Global Finance Magazine. The award ceremony took place in the United States, where Global Finance’s founder and editorial director, Joseph D. Giarraputo, presented the award to Global IME Bank’s Chairman, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Suman Pokhrel.

Global IME Bank is the first Nepali bank to receive this prestigious award from Global Finance. The magazine, known for honoring leading central and commercial banks worldwide, also awarded global financial giants like HSBC (Hong Kong), Bank of America (USA), State Bank of India, China Construction Bank, Maybank (Malaysia), Standard Chartered Bangladesh, and Metrobank (Philippines).
