Global IME Bank Limited has introduced the “Global Haat Bazaar” to promote products from small, micro, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that the bank has funded through loans. The aim is to help these local entrepreneurs market their products and expand their reach in the market.

The “Global Haat Bazaar” will be held every Friday at the bank’s Kamaladi branch in Kathmandu. The bazaar will showcase products from MSMEs supported by the bank, allowing entrepreneurs to display their goods and connect with customers. The bank has adopted the slogan, “Entrepreneurs’ Products, Global IME’s Promotion,” to emphasize its role in encouraging market access for local businesses.
Inaugural Event and Remarks by CEO
Surendra Raj Regmi, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), inaugurated the bazaar. In his opening speech, he emphasized that the main goal of the initiative is to help small, medium, and micro enterprises expand their market presence. CEO Regmi explained that the bazaar will promote organic, indigenous, and locally produced goods, giving Nepali products visibility and fostering business growth.

The Global Haat Bazaar will feature a wide range of products, including pesticide-free agricultural goods, local crops, handmade crafts, and decorative plants. The aim is to create a space where customers can access and purchase goods that reflect Nepal’s culture and sustainable practices.
