Glocal Pvt. Ltd. announced the names of the top six finalists for the 10th edition of Golchha Group presents Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2024 today.

This year’s competition received 709 applications, from fascinating teenagers demonstrating the diverse potential of their initiation, skills, and expertise, and making an impact in their society, in areas like Child Right
Activism, Innovation, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Education, Health Activism, Social Activism, Environmentalism, AI Science/Research and many more.
Mr. Aashish Panthi (19 years, Tech Educator, Kapilvastu); Mr. Ghanashyam Bishwakarma (19 years, Activist, Rukum); Mr. Nischal Bhattarai (16 years, Educator, Syangja); Ms. Purnima Timsina (17 years, Child Right Activist, Jhapa); Ms. Sajani Sharma (19 years, Social Activist, Kaski) and Mr. Shreejay Subedi (18 years, Tech Enthusiast, Parsa) have been selected as top 6 finalists for the Glocal Teen Hero, the only national platform in Nepal to recognize and honor the outstanding teenagers.
From Glocal’s 20under20 & their documents reviewed by our panel of jurors, the Top Six Finalists were shortlisted for the final round of Golchha Group presents Glocal Teen Hero Nepal based on Initiation, Achievement, Sustainability, and their Impact on work. The respected 6-member jury panel had shortlisted these 6 amazing teenagers for their achievements, initiations, and contributions in their respective fields.
The finalist screening was done by a jury team composed of Mr. Ashish Tiwari, Director at Ace Institute of Management; Ms. Chandrika Kalia, Country Director at Coca-Cola Nepal; Dr. Ghana S Gurung, Country Representative at WWF Nepal; Ms. Patricia Fernandez Pacheco, Country Representative to Nepal, UN Women; Ms. Seema Golchha, Director at Golchha Group Pvt. Ltd.; And H.E. Veronique Lorenzo, Ambassador, European Union Delegation to Nepal. The teenagers were chosen based on their applications, resumes, supporting documentation, and essays about their achievements. They were marked on their creativity, accomplishment, effect, and, most importantly, the sustainability of their work.
Over the coming days, the finalists will participate in Self-Competency Workshops and interact with representatives from corporations, embassies, and industry coaches to broaden their knowledge and expand their networks.
The panel of judges will individually interview the finalists on September 1. Additionally, the SMS voting round is open from 5 PM on August 21 until 5 PM on August 31, and public votes will also contribute to determining the winner of Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2024.
To vote for your favorite candidate, text the voting code of your chosen finalist to 35001. The award Ceremony of the Golchha Group presents Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2024 will be held on September 1, 2024, in the presence of different personalities of Nepal from various sectors, such as diplomats, politicians, academia, entrepreneurs, youth leaders, celebrities and many more.
