According to the latest budget report, government buildings in Kathmandu and Butwal will be converted into data innovation parks, offering IT companies free workstations for a period of three years.

The budget also outlines that these IT parks will be fully equipped with all necessary infrastructure to support the IT industry.

This initiative aims to foster growth and development within the sector by reducing overhead costs for emerging and established companies.

In addition to the parks in Kathmandu and Butwal, the government has announced the establishment of a new data park in Lalitpur Khumaltar.

This new facility is expected to further strengthen the IT infrastructure in the region, providing more opportunities for innovation and collaboration within the industry.

This initiative is part of a broader effort by the government to enhance the technological capabilities and economic growth of the country by supporting the burgeoning IT sector.
