Sun Nepal Life Insurance, in a significant move towards green development, has launched a massive tree plantation drive in Sarlahi, Madhesh Province.

This timely initiative, a collaboration with Lumbini World Peace Forum and Chandranagar Rural Municipality, coincides with World Soil Day, emphasizing environmental sustainability.

Phase One: Planting 1,750 Moringa Saplings

The first phase of this tree plantation drive, focused on environmental protection and long-term community welfare, was successfully completed today. A total of 1,750 Moringa (Sajivani) saplings were planted at Shree Durga Khonvari Janata Secondary School, Ward-2 of Chandranagar Rural Municipality.

The program was jointly inaugurated by key figures:

Branch managers and agents from various Sun Nepal Life branches within Madhesh Province actively participated in the event. Local community leaders, school representatives, and the general public also marked their presence, highlighting the broad-based support for the initiative.

Speakers at the event stressed the high medicinal and nutritional value of the Moringa plant. They also underscored the necessity of community partnership for achieving environmental sustainability.
