The digital financial service, e-dheba has launched a new service of grocery ordering through e-dheba SuperApp. E-dheba claims that the SuperApp is “an amalgam of a variety of on-demand services”.
On the press release, e-dheba further stated that customers no longer need multiple apps on their phones. In fact, the superApp integrates all the services of a digital wallet and home delivery in one platform. With the new service from e-dheba SuperApp, customers can now order groceries and food items at home using the app.
Currently, the app offers grocery ordering from two service providers – Kathmandu Organics and Khaanpin. However, it will integrate more service providers on the platform soon. The service is limited to Kathmandu Valley for now.
The company claims that e-dheba SuperApp’s effort is to keep its customers safe at home and encourage cashless digital payments from e-dheba accounts during the lockdown.
What is e-dheba?
It is a digital banking and fintech solution that provides interest in all depositor’s savings. E-dheba specifically offers five services:
Savings and Loan Services: The app offers these services through its sister concern Imperial Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited and its partner organization Citizen Bank International Ltd for purchasing various goods in installment and savings accounts.
Remittance Services: Receive remittances from European countries through its sister concern Lalit Money Transfer Pvt. Ltd.
Payment Services: Being emerged with i-Pay Pvt. Ltd, this SuperApp has 6 years of experience for facilitating online payment for mobile, internet, telephone, television, electricity, school, air service, water, bus service, etc.
Super Services: To book taxis and two-wheelers for transportation, to order food from various restaurants, to provide more than 50 services such as plumbing, carpentry, electrician, home-tuition, etc.
Infotainment: Similarly, the SuperApp includes videos, quizzes, and other entertainment content.
