Bosch, a global leader in automotive technology, today announced the launch of “Hamro Bosch”, a digital loyalty program for local mechanics at a grand event in Kathmandu. The app is specially curated for the Nepal market, designed exclusively for mechanics enrolled onto the Bosch platform.

Reethi Sethi, Regional President and SAARC Head for Bosch’s Mobility Aftermarket India, addressed the gathering, stating, “Nepal is a promising and a focus market for Mobility Aftermarket. The Hamro Bosch program rewards independent garages with attractive points and incentives for increased use of genuine Bosch parts. The program offers a seamless experience for tracking and redeeming points through the Hamro Bosch Mobile app.”
Sandeep Kamat, Country Manager for Bosch Nepal, delivered a warm welcome to the delegates. In his address, he highlighted that Bosch has always been a pioneer in introducing advanced products and technologies at Nepal, especially at a time when Nepal has seen greater adoption of digitalization and QR code in recent months. “The collaboration with local partners for this digital platform also demonstrates the ecosystemic development approach of Bosch” he noted.
‘Hamro Bosch’ reflects the spirit of connection and trust that Bosch shares with its customers in Nepal. Derived from the widely recognized Nepali tagline ‘Hamro’, the program emphasizes a sense of belonging and partnership, aligning with Bosch’s commitment to delivering value to its stakeholders.
The ‘Hamro Bosch’ app introduces a loyalty program designed exclusively for automotive repair mechanics, aimed to promote the usage of Bosch genuine parts. This app enables mechanics to earn reward points by scanning unique QR code on eligible Bosch Mobility Aftermarket products based on their unique mobile number registered with the ‘Hamro Bosch’ application. This app is now available for download online in Nepal via the Android/IOS mobile portals.
“Hamro Bosch” is also the first move towards building a partnership ecosystem in Nepal. While Bosch has designed the platform and the loyalty program structure, the reward portal and gifts for mechanics basis their loyalty points shall be handled by one of Bosch’s authorized distributors ‘M/s Satyadip International Pvt. Limited’ for the region. In the first phase, the portal will be available for coupon scanning for Bosch products in automotive filters, Rotating Machines, Lighting, Horns, Brake Oil and Spark Plugs. Other Bosch products shall be included in a phased manner eventually.

In the presence of around 150 attendees, including key local automotive distributors, mechanics, and distinguished guests from Bosch India, the event featured interactive sessions by Bosch experts, who provided detailed insights into the functionality and benefits of the ‘Hamro Bosch’ App. These sessions equipped mechanics with the knowledge to effectively utilize the app and enhance their service offerings.
Beyond the automotive sector, Bosch continues to strengthen its presence in Nepal through innovative products and solutions in Power Tools, Building Technologies, and Bosch Home Appliances, reaffirming its commitment to driving growth in the region.
