The much-anticipated play “Hari Hajurba” is set to premiere at the Mandala Theater, Thapagaun, on December 19, 2024. Written, conceptualized, and directed by actor Nazir Hussain, the play promises a deeply emotional experience.

The cast features Nazir Hussain alongside talented actors including Bijay Baral, Riyulsang, Sabina Thapa, Rohit Shah, Sujana Pandey, Manish Pandey, and Risu Raut. Renowned Nepali actors Dayahang Rai and Buddhi Tamang have taken on the production role for this play.

Storyline and Theme

“Hari Hajurba” explores the impact of conflict on human relationships, delving into emotions and the depth of connections. It follows the poignant story of Hari, a postman delivering letters, and a grandfather waiting for his granddaughter who went missing during the conflict.

Inspired by poetry, the play translates poetic verses into a powerful narrative, enhanced by a unique theatrical structure. According to the production team, the play aims to provide a healing experience for the wounds left by conflict.

Show Schedule

The play will run at Mandala Theater from December 19 to January 12, 2025, excluding Mondays. On Saturdays, there will be two shows: at 1 PM and 5:15 PM.
