16th August 2025, Kathmandu
The thrill of the NADA Auto Show 2025 is already building, and among the most exciting announcements is the highly anticipated launch of the Hero Xpulse 210. Hero Motocorp Nepal has officially confirmed the arrival of this versatile dual-sport motorcycle, with the company’s social media channels buzzing with teasers ahead of the event, which is scheduled to begin on August 19.
Hero Xpulse 210 Nepal
This new addition to the Hero lineup promises to redefine adventure riding in Nepal, offering a significant upgrade in power and technology over its predecessors. The Xpulse series has long been a favorite among adventure enthusiasts, and the 210 is poised to build on that legacy with a more powerful and feature-rich package.
A New Heart for the Xpulse
The core of the Xpulse 210 is its new, more advanced engine. Unlike the oil-cooled unit in the Xpulse 200, the 210 is powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a four-valve head. This engine, borrowed from the popular Karizma XMR, is designed for both robust power delivery and improved thermal efficiency.
It churns out an impressive 24.6bhp of power and 20.7 Nm of torque, a substantial increase that makes it a much more capable machine for both highway cruising and challenging off-road trails. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox, providing a wider range of gears for better performance and fuel economy across different riding conditions. This is a crucial upgrade for riders who frequently tackle long journeys and varied terrain.
Built for Adventure: Design and Features
The Xpulse 210 stays true to its dual-sport heritage with a rugged and purposeful design. It features a round LED headlight with a sleek, transparent visor and full-LED lighting for better visibility and a modern aesthetic. The tubular handlebars and single-piece seat are designed for long-distance comfort, whether navigating city traffic or conquering a mountain pass.
A key highlight is the advanced 4.2-inch TFT instrument console, which offers a wealth of information at a glance. In addition to standard readouts like speed, gear position, and a tachometer, the console features smartphone connectivity, enabling turn-by-turn navigation and call notifications—a premium feature for a bike in this segment.
Superior Suspension and Handling
For a motorcycle built to dominate any terrain, suspension is paramount. The Xpulse 210 comes equipped with long-travel telescopic front forks that provide 210mm of travel, and a rear monoshock with 205mm of travel. This class-leading suspension setup is designed to absorb the shocks and bumps of the toughest trails, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride.
Safety is also a top priority. The bike is equipped with front and rear disc brakes, complemented by a switchable dual-channel ABS. This feature allows riders to choose from different modes, such as Road and Off-road, to optimize braking performance for the specific terrain, providing enhanced control and confidence. The bike rides on a classic dual-sport wheel setup with a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear, both spoked and fitted with block-pattern tyres for maximum grip on loose surfaces.
Pricing and Market Positioning
Hero Motocorp currently offers the Xpulse 200 4V Pro in Nepal at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5,01,900, while the standard Xpulse 200 4V is available at Rs 4,76,900. The new Xpulse 210 is a premium offering positioned above these models. The company has indicated that the Xpulse 210 is expected to be priced between Rs 5.30 lakh and Rs 5.50 lakh, making it a compelling option for riders seeking a more powerful and technologically advanced dual-sport motorcycle without a hefty price tag.
With the NADA Auto Show 2025 just around the corner, the unveiling of the Hero Xpulse 210 is set to be one of the most talked-about launches, promising to captivate the Nepali motorcycling community and redefine the benchmark for affordable adventure touring.
