Himalayan Bank Extends Hours
10th October 2025, Kathmandu
Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) will offer essential financial services this Saturday, 25th Ashwin 2082.
Himalayan Bank Extends Hours
This special operation facilitates Quarter End Banking Nepal transactions. Banks often keep limited branches open on the last Saturday of a fiscal quarter, following a directive from Nepal Rastra Bank.
This ensures that customers can complete urgent transactions before the quarter officially closes. HBL will open seven key branch offices across five provinces.
These limited counter operations will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Customers who require critical financial services should utilize this special timing. All other branches will remain closed.
Critical Services Available
The special operation focuses on high-priority financial needs that must conclude by the end of the quarter. HBL has prioritized services essential for business and large-value transactions.
This move actively supports the financial ecosystem’s compliance requirements. Customers can access the following vital services:

Leveraging Digital Banking Solutions
While the bank opens branches for essential counter services, HBL encourages customers to utilize its digital banking channels for non-cash transactions.
The bank’s robust digital platforms offer 24/7 access for routine banking activities. These include account balance inquiries, fund transfers between HBL accounts, and bill payments.
Leveraging these digital solutions helps reduce crowding at the physical branches. This is particularly important during special Quarter End Banking Nepal days when limited staff manage the counters.
Digital technology ensures convenience and efficiency for most customer needs.
