Himalayan Bank SSF Agreement: Overseas Nepali Digital SSF via HimalRemit

Himalayan Bank Limited and the Social Security Fund (SSF) have signed an agreement to help Nepalese working abroad contribute to the SSF easily. The partnership aims to streamline the contribution process using the bank’s digital services.

Under the agreement, contributors can open accounts with Himalayan Bank. They can then use services like HimalRemit, mobile banking, or card payments to deposit funds into the SSF. The contributed amount will be credited to the SSF account on the same day, ensuring quick processing.
Ujjal Rajbhandari, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Bank, and Kaviraj Adhikari, Executive Director of the SSF, signed the agreement. Officials from both organizations attended the signing ceremony.
This initiative will benefit thousands of overseas Nepalis by providing a convenient way to contribute to the SSF. Himalayan Bank’s digital platforms, including HimalRemit, will play a key role in facilitating these transactions.
Shital Koirala, the bank’s Press and Public Relations Officer, emphasized that the partnership aims to simplify the contribution process. It also ensures timely deposits into the SSF, enhancing efficiency and transparency.
