Himalayan Everest Insurance Conducts Non-Life Awareness Program for Farmers in Sindhupalchok

A non-life insurance awareness discussion program was successfully conducted on Asar 5, 2082 (June 19, 2025) in Kuwinde, Sunkoshi Municipality-4, Sindhupalchok, organized by the Chautara Branch of Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited.

The program was held in the presence of around 20 farmers affiliated with the Kuwinde Milk Collection Center. It provided information on the importance, application, benefits of insurance, and the various non-life insurance policies available at the local level.
The main objective of the program was to raise awareness about insurance among rural and farming communities and to ensure their easy access to risk management tools.
In the program, Mr. Prem Prasad Sapkota, Chairman of the Kuwinde Dairy Agricultural Cooperative, highlighted the crucial role of the insurance sector in uplifting the living standards of farmers. He expressed the opinion that insurance companies should be more proactive in expanding insurance access and making the claim process simpler and more efficient.
