Honda Cars India has officially announced a significant refresh for its popular SUV, the Elevate, with the launch of the 2025 model year.

The update focuses on enhancing the vehicle’s premium appeal through a series of thoughtful interior and exterior changes. While the core mechanicals remain unchanged, the new Elevate is designed to offer a more sophisticated and feature-rich experience, solidifying its position in the highly competitive SUV market.

The most noticeable change on the outside is the introduction of a new grille design. The 2025 Elevate now sports an “Alpha-Bold Plus” grille, which features nine prominent vertical slats bordered by a thick chrome frame.

This bold design replaces the previous floating horizontal slat motif, giving the SUV a more commanding and assertive road presence.

This new grille will be available as an accessory for all variants, but it will come as a standard feature on the special “Signature Black Edition,” which has been a popular choice for customers seeking a more aggressive and all-black aesthetic.

In a further expansion of color options, Honda has made the stylish “Crystal Black Pearl” exterior color available across all variants of the new Elevate.

Previously, this premium shade was exclusively reserved for the Black Edition models. Customers can now opt for this deep and lustrous black color for an additional premium of INR 8,000, adding a touch of elegance and exclusivity to their vehicle.

Enhanced Cabin Experience with New Themes and Technology

The interior of the 2025 Elevate has also received a major uplift, with a focus on a more premium and modern feel. In the V and VX variants, the previous “Shadow Beige” fabric upholstery has been replaced with a sleeker, all-black fabric for the seats.

This is complemented by a white soft-touch dashboard, creating a striking two-tone theme that feels both sporty and sophisticated.

For the top-end ZX variant, Honda has introduced several new features to justify its premium positioning. The 2025 Elevate ZX now comes with a 360-degree camera system, a much-requested feature that significantly improves visibility and makes parking in tight spaces effortless.

This variant also includes a new seven-color ambient lighting option, allowing occupants to customize the cabin’s mood to their preference. The “Signature Black Edition” further elevates its appeal by making this ambient lighting a standard feature, alongside its unique blacked-out exterior trim.

Performance and Specifications Remain Consistent

Under the hood, the 2025 Honda Elevate maintains its proven and reliable powertrain. The SUV continues to be powered by the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that has received praise for its smooth performance.

This engine produces a healthy 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. It is paired with the same transmission choices as before: a 6-speed manual gearbox for those who prefer a more engaging driving experience, and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) automatic for a smooth and convenient ride.

The updates to the 2025 Honda Elevate are not revolutionary, but they are a strategic evolution aimed at keeping the SUV competitive and appealing to a wider range of buyers.

By focusing on design tweaks, interior enhancements, and adding key convenience features, Honda has successfully made a great product even better. The new Elevate is a testament to the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and its understanding of what modern customers seek in a premium urban SUV.
