Hult Prize at BPKIHS Concluded With Grand Success

After waving through a series of events ranging from orientation programs at college premises, two entrepreneurship talk series, four workshops, and three days of mentorship sessions, each with enthusiastic participation from participating and non-participating members alike, finally the hard work and determinations have paid off. Hult Prize at BPKIHS OnCampus finale 2022 has been successfully conducted on 12th March, Saturday.

The program was held in zoom where it saw the overwhelming participation of more than 120 participants and audiences. There was the participation of a total of 8 teams.  The hosts for the day Mr. Sashank Bhattarai and Ms. Anu Shrestha started the session by addressing participants, sponsors, media partners, and judges while welcoming audiences. They gave a short briefing of hult prize and theme for the year with the journey of the first edition of the Hult Prize at BPKIHS.

The judging panel for this final session comprised of Mr. Dip Jung Thapa (Co-founder of Kratikal, a global cybersecurity company), Mr. Shesh Narayan Poudel (Director-General- Department of Foreign employment), and Mr. Milan Thapa (Director of Technology- Shiksha Technology) who gave valued and practical advice to all the ideas while addressing them in the final round- Question/answer round after completion of first-round called Pitching round.
Both Pitching and question/answer rounds consisted of 4 minutes each giving each team 8 minutes for their ideas.

The judges also expressed their entrepreneurship journey, the scenario, challenges, and opportunities. They urged young people to explore all the other opportunities and not just look at one possibility of life. They encouraged the students to keep moving forward, taking head-on the challenges life throws at them, and focused on leadership qualities while urging them to learn the team they have to lead. Also, the director of Everest parenterals addressed the participants.

Finally, after completion of all the rounds, Hult Prize at BPKIHS OnCampus got its most awaited results.

Winner: Team ABS comprising Ajay Singh, Barshana Adhikari, and Sumit Yadav.

First Runner Up:

Team Lakshya comprises Sameer Hussain, Meera Devi Acharya, Suraksha Sigdel, and Sanjila Lama.

Second Runner Up:

Team Aasharya comprising Sumit Dhamala, Astha Thapa, Yamuna Rokaya, and Riwaj Bhandari

After presenting a token of love to the judges, the program concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Kiran Chandra Pun and closing by Campus Director Mr. Kumar Dhungel.

Hult’s prize at BPKIHS emphasizes creating a long-lasting impact on society through these events and makes BPKIHSians think globally and act locally.

It emphasizes the need to transform the world into a better place for the present and future by creating jobs, having a positive environmental and social impact creating a larger ripple through ideas
