The nomination process for the prestigious and renowned program in the information and communication technology sector, the 9th edition of the ICT Award, has concluded, and the selection process for the best entries is ongoing. Over 700 participants were involved in the open nomination process across 14 categories. A panel of 14 expert jury members is working on the selection process.
ICT Award 2024 Semifinalists Announced
In this context, the semifinalists for the Startup, Product, Rising Star, and Social Innovation categories under Category A have been announced after two selection rounds.
Startup ICT Award 2024: The top 10 startups have been selected. From over 45 startup nominations, the top 10 were announced after two selection rounds. The finalists include:

Product ICT Award 2024: The top 13 products have been announced. Over 40 products were nominated in this category. The semifinalists include:

Rising Star Innovation 2024: Over 60 applications were received in this category, and the top 12 innovations were selected as semifinalists. These include:

Social Innovation ICT Award 2024: The top 13 innovations have been selected for the semifinals from over 35 nominations. The semifinalists include:

– Human-Wildlife Conflict Nepal
– KU Krishi
– LMC Alert
– Local Level Justice Management System
– Mobile Health for Care Coordination

These selected startups, products, and innovations will present to the grand jury of 14 members and showcase their products in the final competition. Afterward, the top 5 finalists from all four categories will be announced. The finalists will then proceed to public voting, and the jury will conduct office visits before selecting the winners.
Along with these four categories under Category A, the jury is also conducting the first round of selection for the nominations received in digital education, digital services, and digital governance under Category C. The selection process for other individual award categories such as Pioneer, Entrepreneurs, Woman Icon, Nepali Diaspora, and Professional Excellence will begin after the Dashain festival.
The nomination process for the South Asia Startup Award is still ongoing. Jury members from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan have been appointed for the selection process in this category. The organizers are also conducting startup meetup sessions in all seven provinces of Nepal to target provincial startups.
