ICT Awards 2022 have announced the best 5 in three different categories. The best five have been reported after three different stages of selection in the Startup ICT Award, Product ICT Award and Rising Star Innovation ICT Award categories.
Earlier, on Kartik 26th, the best 12 contestants of the same category gave a presentation and speed dating session in front of 12 judges.
The successful companies in the Startup ICT Award category are Cura Health, Monal Tech, Pick and Drop, Red Tail Fox, and Ringage Tech.
Similarly, the five best successful products in the Product ICT Award are Bihe Nepal, FinPOS, Galli Maps, Tigg and Bhairav Trident.
According to the organizers, among the five successful innovations in the Rising Star Innovation ICT Award category are Ask Mattrab, Autonomous Eagle Eye UAV, Karobar App, Neptou and Sarang.
Razan Lamsal, chairman of the organizing committee, stated that this competition’s pitching and grand jury session would be broadcast on Kantipur Television this year.
The contestants among the top 5 will have to participate in public voting through IME Pay and Sparrow SMS. Organizing committee member Sushil Pokharel informed that the best would be chosen based on jury selection, public vote, demo and company observation.
The Public Choice ICT Award 2022 for the top 12 startups, products and rising star innovations will also be open with voting.
Organizer Living with ICT has informed that Public Voting will be conducted from Friday, 9th Mangsir to 29th of Mangsir.
The selection process is ongoing for the Pioneer, Entrepreneur, Woman Icon and Nepali Diaspora ICT Award categories. Similarly, Digital Education ICT Award given to private and government educational institutions, Digital Governance ICT Award to government institutions and Digital Services ICT Award for the corporate sector are also included in the categories.
Various selection processes have been going on for the past three months for the ICT Award 2022, which will be awarded in 13 categories. A startup fest was also organized on the 18th and 19th of Kartik with the participation of hundreds of startups.
South Asia Startup ICT Award 2022 has also been announced this year, targeting South Asian countries. The organizer has informed us that more than 50 nominations have been received from 7 countries in this category.
Jury coordinator Hempal Shrestha said that the selection process for the winner of this category is being conducted with the involvement of experts from different countries. The best 5 South Asian startups will come to Nepal for the grand finale.
The grand finale of the ICT Award 2022, in association with Nepal Telecom and Genese, powered by Huawei and Smart QR, organized by Living with ICT, will be held on the 8th of Poush at The Soaltee Kathmandu.
It is said that this program will be broadcasted live through various television, online and apps.

How to do public voting?
Startup, Product and Rising Star Innovation ICT Award 2022 category best five can be voted through IME Pay and Sparrow SMS. Only one candidate can be voted in one class from one ID daily to vote in these three categories.
The best 12 contestants in all three categories can be voted in the Public Choice ICT Award 2022 category. There is a provision for voting in this category.
For this category, the votes made by the observers in the last startup fest will also be considered the basis. To vote, download the IME app and select ICT Award 2022, and after choosing the category, the contestant’s name will be displayed. You can vote for the candidate you like.
Similarly, to vote by SMS, you must type the text according to the voting code of the company or product and send the voting code to 33001.
