The grand inauguration of Hotel Royal Airport took place in Sinamangal, Kathmandu, with a notable investment exceeding Rs. 5 crore by a group of dynamic young entrepreneurs.

The event was officially launched by Bimal Thakuri, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Cooperatives of Bagmati Province, on Friday.
Minister Thakuri highlighted the essential role of the tourism sector in Nepal’s economic development and emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to enhance and promote this vital industry. He reassured his commitment to facilitating and supporting business ventures in the tourism sector, expressing a willingness to engage with local entrepreneurs to drive further investment and growth.
Navraj Shrestha, the president of Hotel Royal Airport, addressed attendees, stating that the hotel was established with an investment of over 50 million rupees. The facility features 34 rooms and 50 beds, designed to cater to both domestic and international visitors arriving through the nearby airport. The hotel boasts a tranquil environment and includes a large hall and a meeting room with a capacity to accommodate over 200 people.
Shrestha conveyed his belief that Hotel Royal Airport will make a significant impact on Nepal’s tourism industry by enhancing the quality of accommodation available to travellers. He expressed confidence that the new establishment would contribute positively to the region’s hospitality infrastructure and support the growth of tourism in Nepal.
