inDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, has successfully concluded its impactful “Rides For Goals” campaign in Kathmandu, aimed at transforming public school playgrounds and promoting sports participation among young students.

Running throughout the month of May, the campaign contributed 10% of every third ride’s fare toward renovating playgrounds at selected public primary schools and providing essential sports kits. These collections were directly used to:
- Renovate and improve playground infrastructure, creating safe and engaging recreational spaces.
- Distribute sports kits — including basketballs, futsal balls, and badminton rackets — to encourage physical activity and sports involvement from an early age.
“At inDrive, we believe mobility should empower and uplift communities. ‘Rides For Goals’ reflects our commitment to social impact by directly supporting the health and development of schoolchildren through better play environments,” said Pavit Nanda Anand, APAC Communications Lead at inDrive. “We are proud to help create spaces where children can learn teamwork, build confidence, and grow through play.”
Mark Tolley, Regional Director of inDrive Asia Pacific region added: “This initiative is a great example of how everyday actions — like taking a ride — can make a tangible difference. We’re committed to projects that create lasting value in communities, and ‘Rides For Goals’ is just one step toward ensuring that every child has access to the joy and benefits of play.”
The “Rides For Goals” initiative is part of inDrive’s broader mission to promote social equity and contribute positively to the communities it serves, particularly in underserved and developing regions.
