Infinix is a Hong Kong-based smartphone company with manufacturing centers in China. Founded in 2013, the company makes Android Operating System. Infinix has been expanding the product lineup since its first product hit the Nepali market. Additionally, the company has confirmed the launch of Infinix Note 8i as a Daraz-exclusive product. The Infinix Note 8 is a cheaper and smaller variant of the Infinix Note 8. Now, let’s go through the specs, features, price, and availability of the Infinix Note 8i.

Design and Display

The Note 8i has a 6.78 inches IPS LCD that shows off the 480 nits of peak brightness. With HD+ 720 * 1640 pixels resolution, the aspect ratio of the device is 20.5:9. The device has a punch hole on the top left side of the screen for its front camera. The Note 8i differs from the Note 8 explicitly from the smaller screen size and the single punch-hole.

As for the rear, note 8i uses a plastic frame and plastic back with its boasted gem-cut design. The diamond-shaped patterns of different shades cover the rear panel and give it a glossy finish. The rear side houses the quad-camera while the fingerprint sensor is side-mounted. The scanner can complete a biometric verification within just 250ms.

Processor

The Note 8i is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The 12 nm chipset with octa-core (2 * 2.0 GHz Cortex – A75 & 6 * 1.8 GHz Cortex – A55) CPU and Mali – G52 MC2 GPU provides adequate performance for gaming. Additionally, given that the Note 8i has an HD+ screen, gamming should be quite fun.

The Note 8i has a single memory configuration with 6 GB RAM and 128 internal memory (which is expandable). Furthermore, the device runs on XOS 7.1 UI on top of Android 10.

Camera

The rear of the device has a rectangular camera module with corning Gorilla Glass to protect the camera from scratches. The module houses the 48 MP primary camera, 2 MP macro lens, and depth sensor followed by AI sensor. Alongside the quad-camera side is a Quad-LED flashlight.

The front houses an 8 MP camera with a dual-LED flashlight. The front camera can capture videos at 1080p@30fps while the rear camera captures videos at 1440p@30fps.

Battery

The Note 8i features a massive non-removable Li-Po 5200mAH battery with 18 W fast charging. The battery should easily last 2 days with light functions. Furthermore, the 18 W fast charging should take approximately about 2 hours to go from 0 to 100 via Type C port.
